If you’re thinking about embarking on a career in the world of tech, business or banking, applying to our graduate programme is the perfect way to get your foot in the door. But, you might be wondering what the training is actually like.

The mthree training is mostly online and always led by supportive instructors who care about your progress.

Picture this, you’ve applied for one of our roles, aced the interviews and now it's time for your first training session. You’re nervous as you’re not sure what to expect. Don’t worry, myself and Khadijah Pandor attended a few courses to give you the low down on exactly what happens! Carry on reading for more information.

Expert instructors who guide you every step

One of the best things about our training programme is the instructors. They’re not there to just talk at you, they’re there to guide you and make sure you actually understand what you’re learning.

Got a question? They’ll explain it in a way that makes sense. Struggling with a concept? They’ll walk you through it until you get that ‘aha’ moment.

“When listening in on the training, one of the things that really stood out to me was the way the instructors made sure that everyone understood what they were talking about. They asked for questions, and involved the class and made sure people were not afraid to ask for help. I think speaking up in settings such as this can be a struggle, especially when you haven’t met everyone in person. But, by asking the trainees to show they understood the concepts the instructors knew exactly who needed that extra help in a gentle way.” - Saffron

Hands-on learning with real coding projects

Our programme isn’t one of those where you just passively absorb information. You'll be working on real coding projects, putting what you learn into practice.

It doesn’t stop there, assessments include presenting your projects, helping you develop those all important communication skills that will come into play when you’re working onsite for one of our clients. After all, in the tech industry, the ability to work well with others is just as important as the work itself!!

“It was great to learn from others on the training. The instructor asked questions to others which supported in developing both technical and transferable skills” - Khadijah

Learning in a comfortable environment

Training takes place over Zoom, where you can learn from the comfort of your home. You will be expected to have your camera on, as it’s important for the instructors to be able to gauge your body language and engagement.

Don’t worry though, it’s not an all-day lecture marathon. The schedule includes regular breaks to give you time to recharge and most importantly, eat. No coding on an empty stomach!

“Learning from the comfort of your own home can be a positive thing. Trainees really focus on what it is that they're learning. Being able to sit at their desk and make notes without worrying about anything else around adds to the learning experience.” - Saffron

A supportive network

The best part of our training programme? You’re not doing it alone. Your instructors and peers are there to help you every step of the way. Whether you need clarification on an assignment, or just a bit of encouragement - there’s always someone ready to help.

So, if you’re looking for a graduate programme that’s structured, interactive and full of people that genuinely want you to succeed, we’ve got you covered.

What happens next?

Once you’ve completed the training portion of our graduate programme, the next step is interviews with our clients.

If successful, you’ll then be placed on-site where you will work full-time for 12-24 months. After this, you’ll have the opportunity to become a full-time employee with the client and carry on making your way in the world of tech!

Ready to take the next step? Apply for one of our graduate roles today.
