Purpose
At mthree, we are committed to delivering high-quality talent to our clients through a fair, transparent, and rigorous assessment process. To ensure we accurately evaluate each candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, communication abilities, and problem-solving capability, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools during candidate interviews and assessments is strictly prohibited.
This policy applies to all interviews conducted by mthree and by our client organisations as part of the recruitment, assessment, and selection process.
Candidates must not use any AI-powered tool, application, website, browser extension, chatbot, virtual assistant, or automated technology during any stage of the interview process.
Candidates are expected to answer all interview questions using their own knowledge, experience, and judgment without external assistance.
To protect the integrity of our recruitment process, mthree utilises interview monitoring and proctoring technologies designed to identify potential AI-assisted responses and other unauthorised forms of assistance.
These tools may monitor for:
Multiple screen usage
Suspicious application activity
Browser behavior
External software usage
Response patterns consistent with AI-generated content
Real-time prompts or answer generation
Other indicators suggesting unauthorized assistance
All candidates participating in interviews acknowledge and consent to the use of these technologies as part of the recruitment process.
Any candidate identified as using AI or unauthorized assistance during an interview, assessment, technical evaluation, or client interview will be:
Immediately removed from the assessment process;
Automatically declined from the relevant opportunity;
Ineligible for progression to subsequent interview stages;
Reported to the recruiting team and, where appropriate, to the client organization.
mthree reserves the right to withdraw consideration for any role where there is evidence that the authenticity of a candidate's performance has been compromised.
We Hire People, Not AI Tools
Our clients are hiring individuals based on their own capabilities, experience, and potential. While AI may be a valuable workplace productivity tool, interviews are designed to assess the candidate - not the technology they have available.
The interview process must accurately reflect a candidate's:
Technical knowledge
Professional experience
Critical thinking
Communication skills
Problem-solving ability
Decision-making capability
Learning potential
When AI is used to generate answers, recruiters and hiring managers are unable to determine whether responses genuinely represent the candidate's own abilities.
Allowing AI-assisted responses creates an unfair advantage over candidates who are participating honestly and independently.
mthree is committed to ensuring that every candidate is evaluated against the same standards and under the same conditions. Prohibiting AI use helps maintain a level playing field and supports an equitable hiring process for all applicants.
By participating in any mthree interview, assessment, or client interview process, candidates confirm that:
1. They will not use AI or any other unauthorized external assistance.
2. All responses provided will be their own work.
3. They understand that interview monitoring and proctoring technologies may be used.
4. They accept that any breach of this policy may result in immediate disqualification from the recruitment process.
mthree is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and authenticity throughout the recruitment process. Authentic interviews enable better hiring decisions, stronger candidate outcomes, and greater success for both our clients and our talent.
