The mthree Academy is our dedicated learning and development hub that supports our Hire Train Deploy model and broader workforce-solutions proposition. It exists to:
Train emerging talent (graduates or early-career) into job-ready professionals
Provide bespoke training and upskilling/reskilling services for organisations’ existing employees
Align the skills people bring with the roles, technologies and real-world environments our client organisations operate in
For the emerging-talent/graduate programme: Recent graduates (and sometimes very early-career professionals) are eligible. For example, our graduate programme accepts applicants who have just completed university or have the potential to transition into a tech/operations role.
For existing workforce programmes (reskilling/ upskilling): Organisations can nominate their employees who need new skills, so eligibility is determined by the organisation and we provide our assessment of the individuals’ readiness.
For the emerging-talent/graduate programme: No hidden fees or upfront costs for the candidate.
For organisation-sponsored/reskilling programmes: The cost model is client-facing (organisation pays for the training service) rather than the individual trainee.
We seek candidates who demonstrate:
A strong learning mindset: ability to pick up new technologies, adapt quickly
Analytical thinking, effective communication, teamwork orientation. For certain pathways (e.g. business services) we look for proficiency in tools such as Excel, comfort with data, etc
A clear interest in technology, business/operations or the domain the role covers
Diversity in background: our programmes intentionally draw from a wide range of disciplines (not strictly STEM) and from diverse universities/universities backgrounds
For specific roles: we may look for foundational knowledge or evidence of aptitude in relevant domains (coding, logical reasoning, business operations) though not always a formal STEM degree requirement
Yes, the Academy curriculum combines technical training with soft skills, such as communication, collaboration, professionalism, critical thinking and adaptability.
For the graduate programme, we also prepare our Alumni for client interviews.
This ensures graduates are not only technically able, but ready to perform within client teams, to collaborate, to engage stakeholders and to thrive in a business-environment.
mthree operates globally across multiple geographies, UK, Ireland, US, Canada, India, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong.
Deployment opportunities are therefore available in regions aligned with our client base (e.g. financial services, technology, business operations) in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
We maintain curriculum relevance by:
Employing experienced industry practitioners (our Head of Academy has 20+ years in financial services/tech) to lead the Academy and ensure the training is aligned to current market and client needs.
Collaborating with clients to tailor the curriculum to their specific tech stack, upcoming skill demands (cloud, AI, DevOps, SRE etc) so that alumni are ready to work in production environments.
Regularly reviewing and updating our modules based on feedback from our SME instructors: training pathways include cloud engineering basics, AI/Data engineering foundations, DevOps tools etc.
This means that the curriculum is dynamic rather than static.
No, while many candidates may have STEM backgrounds, we do not require that you have a STEM degree exclusively. For example our business services pathway accepts graduates from a wide range of backgrounds (finance, business, law).
The emphasis is on potential, aptitude and mindset more than strictly the subject studied.
It serves both:
For candidates: It provides a pathway into industry for graduates / early-career professionals - training, placement with global employers and ongoing development.
For employers/organisations: It provides a source of talent (via Hire Train Deploy) and a training programme to ready candidates for their environments. Also it supports organisations in training/reskilling existing employees. It’s designed with both ends of the talent ecosystem in mind.
We engage with your organisation to:
Discover the specific roles, technologies, workflows and business needs you have (for example the tech stack, domain knowledge, functional outcomes)
Design bespoke training pathways aligned to those needs (e.g. focusing on the client’s stack, prioritising cloud, AI foundations, banking operations)
Train candidates with modules specific to your environment (technical and professional) so that they integrate more smoothly on deployment
Deploy them into your teams with readiness and continue support and alignment to ensure the training delivered matches what your teams require
This tailored approach helps maximise the value of the training for your business.
